Harrison AR Steals~N~Deals: A~Z List for 2/5-2/12/13

I'm sure that everyone is aware of the problems that people have had at Harrison's WM lately. I'm not really sure what is going on & why they are deviating from corporate policy, but I hope to sit down with management SOON. Just be patient & know that the cashiers are just doing their job. (for the most part) There seems to be a lot of miscommunication going on & hopefully that can be rectified SOON!

Until then, if you have problems, make sure to get the name of the cashier &/or CSM & call 1800-Walmart. Don't be rude. Just be firm. I know this is a hassle for right now, but as we've seen, they go through 'stages'. It will get better, I promise.

Also, please note that Freds, CVS, Walgreens, Target, Sav-a-lot, & Family Dollar all expire on Sat night. Hudson's expires on Monday night & the rest on Tuesday.

Onto a lighter note.... There's a LOT of candy on sale this week. (Duh, it's the week before Vday!) We didn't include much of it on the list, but it's worth taking a look at the separate ads. :)

Thank you for making this list every week.

I use it as a reference after I figure out my shopping list, I first go to all the stores websites and make my own list then use yours to double check my list. I have found a few times that I have missed a few items you had on yours and many times I have items you didn't have.

For example - I do not see on your list that Hudson's has 10 lb box of corn dogs for $9.90 ... and that Edwards has KC Mix (ground beef & pork mix) for $1.59 lb ....

I understand your list is basically a list of all the items you are going to go shopping for plus maybe some you think others might want to use ... But why do you leave out some that seem to be really good prices?

First of all, I want to thank you for all the time you spend getting the sales items together! I use your list to get competitive pricing and my son uses your list to choose which store to shop weekly. Your list has saved us hundreds of dollars this year, by simply keeping our attention focused on buying what's on sale!

Fair-warning, something has changed at the WM in Berryville. This afternoon, the WM associate stopped to look-up each compted product in the printed flyers. Since she didn't have a CVS flyer handy, she wouldn't give me those sales prices. She told me to start bringing in copies of the ads for proof.

I know this is not the associate's fault and I try to be a good competitive pricing customer. I come in with a printed list, with all the details and organize a separate basket with only comps. Then, I put them in order on the counter - to speed up her process.

Today, I spent $50 on compts and an additional $250 dollars on other groceries & goods. So, I do think they are still making money from our purchases.

I'm going to have to subscribe to all the local newspapers, so that I can start bringing in proof. Their million dollar ad campaign about matching competitors prices gives me the resolve to not give up!

Wal-Mart's Corporate policy states on their "corporate" website that they DO NOT need to see the ads in order for them to comp. Not sure how they handle it from there but it states that you do not have to have the ads with you. And I want to say Thank You to the people who do this. I have seen on here what seems to be kind of negative comments towards you guys and they should not be directed to you at all. You are right, you take time out to help people. I too have a full time job and a 2 year old and do not see how you guys do it. So thank you, there are "some" people who are grateful for what you guys do.
